alright.
recently, i have been reading this book called "IMPERIAL SPY".
cool huh the title.
its v interesting that i wanted to share with everybody.
therefore i shall be doing some story telling the next few days! xD
but i jus cnt start my pen rolling on the book review 0_o


ok. first let me introduce u to the main 2 character.
Shalidar- top assassin of shandar (the country), member of the Guild of Assassins and long time adversary of femke.
Femke- talented young spy for the Emperor of shandar. Mistress of disguise.


the story starts off with the new Emperor of Shandar, Emperor Surabar, ordering an arrest for Shalidar as "treason". (Shalidar used to help the previous fake Emperor) Femke was the one who spoiled Shalidar's plan. On the chase, Femke threw a knife towards Shalidar which nearly hit him. It was so close that he felt it go by. Nobody had come that close to killing him for many years. The young woman had turned the tables on him, for which he could exact a painful retribution. He escaped.


Femke was a mistress of disguise. She was given a mission by the Emperor to be present in the ceremony of the uprise of Emperor Surabar to make sure nobody attempts to do anything foolish. (Emperor Surabar used to be a General. The other lords and courts does not approve of that, they wanted only the Royals to be on the throne.) Femke was disguised as "Lady Alyssa", she was beautifully dressed. (MEINU *_*) She saw an old-school lord attempting to assassinate the Emperor. Here comes another main character into the story, a young handsome guy! He is "Lord Danar". He spotted the beautiful Lady Alyssa (Femke). Lord Danar was known to charm all the ladies of the court. His friend told him that Lady Alyssa was known to be very haughty and hard to pursue. Danar then said he loves challenges and bet with him friend ten gold sen that the lady will be walking beside him within a week's time. Lord Danar approached Lady Alyssa and they started to chat. Both were kinda attracted to each other but they did not continue their conversation for long as Femke left to stop that old-school lord. She managed to stop the him. After that, Femke reported to the Emperor. The Emperor warned her about Shalidar who is bound to seek revenge and had decided to sent her to Thandor (neighbour country) as an ambassador to do peace-talkings. In this way, Femke could avoid Shalidar too. So she set off with 2 soliders- Reynik and Sidis, 2 servants- Kalheen and Phagen...
